Stata on Yale Clusters

Interactive stata

For Windows: install mobaXterm software.

Set settings: Yale net id, and use cluster address: grace.hpc.yale.edu

Then, load stata through

module load Apps/Stata/Stata15.1

You can use another version of stata. To see what version is available for stata, use

module spyder stata

Start an interactve session (which gives more memory than just launching stata from the login node)

srun --pty --x11 -p interactive bash

run

xstata

Stata should launch!
